RFID wallets grant protection against wireless communication, especially the RFID kind that most new cards, whether debit or credit, come equipped with. As long as your cards are in one of these wallets or card holders, they will not be scannable from any distance, ensuring the safety of your information.
All styles are in stock.
RFID stands for "Radio Frequency Identification" and is increasingly used in various areas. RFID works by using radio waves. The sender of the radio waves emits them constantly. When a credit card or other item with an RFID-chip is nearby, it will activate and return a signal.
RFID technology is used in a lot of places. It's used in stores against theft, for stock control in warehouses, when tracking times in marathons, and much more. Among those are probably your brand new credit card.
In all the wallets and cardholders in this category, we've used a fabric containing metal that blocks all wireless communication, and especially RFID. The fabric works like any other in wallets, so even if you might not be too concerned about blocking RFID communication for the moment, you can still use it as you normally would.
To see if your credit card has RFID technology, look for the logo shown here.
