Disappointed but manageable to fix I think

This item is lovely from afar, I am a bit disappointed seeing the quality of the cut on the carbon fiber. The carbon fiber inlay has rough visible grooves and fraying on the edges. I first thought it was a plastic outline to protect the carbon but sadly no. The carbon is more raised from the outer lining of the cross and glue is visible on the edges. I just wish the carbon was more flush to the outer lining of the cross and buffed out. I believe it's salvageable however.
