Wristwatches for men.
Watches are convenient timepieces that fit snuggly on your wrist, as compared to pocket watches, whose natural habitat is the vest pocket. However, there are many different types of inexpensive watches out there, something we've written a lot about in the main "Watches" category.
Here we'll cover all the different watch straps.
The different straps. There are three main strap types that go along with a wristwatch, as shown in the illustrations below.
The first is a mesh strap, often seen in Skagen watches. Its most notable advantages are the strap's impressive durability and a lock that offers great flexibility in positioning.
Next, we have the standard steel strap , also very durable but far less adjustable, having only one locking position. Your local jeweler should be able to shorten the strap for that true custom fit.
Finally, a leather strap also features several locking positions. Be aware that leather watch straps can vary greatly in quality. Faux leather straps, especially, do not wear well. At Trendhim, we carry only straps made with long-lasting, 100% genuine leather that keep their sheen and color over time.
