The Truelove Knot is also called the Pinwheel Knot. It’s notoriously difficult to perfect and will require practise. For the best result, use a longer tie as the Truelove Knot needs a lot of fabric (like the Eldredge Knot). Or… use a standard tie and wear a vest to hide the fact that the finished result is a short tie.
As with many non-traditional knots, the narrow end is the active end (the one that does the moving). And credit to Elliot Truelove for creating this challenging knot and naming it after himself.
