About the Trinity Knot

Hope you’ve got a minute because the Trinity Knot is not an easy one to master in a few short minutes. It’s similar to the Eldredge Knot and is as much a statement maker as it is a complex to make.

The knot is named for its resemblance to the Celtic Triquetra knot. Christianity adopted the symbol and connected its meaning to the Holy Trinity.

The Trinity Knot (also known as the Irish Love Knot) must be tied a bit loose and tightened at the end. It’s also imperative that the wide end be positioned exactly where you want it to finish. This is because it won’t be moved during the tying process.
