The watches in the picture look better than in reality. The strap is very stiff and short (for a child's wrist), it claims to be leather, but it doesn't look like leather. The color on the strap peels off upon touch. And the saddest part is that they are not made in Denmark, but in China. I do not recommend!

The watch strap is made from firm leather but not hard. The colour of the strap is classic and very man outdoors. The actual watch is a wonderful sleek and comfortable time piece. There are no edges to snag on clothing or dig into your skin. This watch is for my 30yr old son, to wear when he is out in the wildlife, walking, hiking and having time out. In the photos, the leather looks slightly worn, however, the watches arrived with "unworn" leather, which doesn't bother me at all, they will wear in soon and look like in the picture.
