The section in the ring where the clasp is put on was actually wide enough for the clasp to come out, and we had to put it back on and try to squeeze it closed so it won't happen again. Thinking maybe it could be soldered after the clasp is put on to avoid that, but not sure if that would work. Otherwise, very happy with the product,
